Spot the 'Big Five' on Safari Discover Stone Town on Zanzibar Spice Island- Zanzibar ia an archipelago located off the coast of Tanzania. The capital is Zanzibar City and Stone Town is its historic centre. Stone Town is a World Heritage Site and has historical importance in east Africa. It was the centre of the Spice Trade and Slave Trade in the 19th century, and spices are still one of the main industries here. This enchanting town has changed very little in the past 200 years so most of the buildings are the original 19th Century stone buildings the town was named after. Many hours can be spent wandering the labyrinthe of narrow streets, winding alleys and bustling bazaars. White Water Raft down the Zambezi- The Zambezi is the fourth-longest river in Africa and flows from Zambia, through Angola, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and finally through Mozambique and into the Indian Ocean. The Majestic Victoria Falls stands between Zambia and Zimbabwe and the 23 white water rapids start at the bottom, in Batoka Gorge. From March to July the river is high and only the last 13 rapids can be run, but as the water subsides, from June/July to Feb, all are navigable. Take in the sights and sounds of Djemaa el Fna market, Marrakech, Morocco- Be amazed by the hundreds of stalls in this open-air market. The atmosphere is an assault on the senses, walk round accompanied by drum beats and the noise of a bustling market, smell the cooking food, the herbs and spices, and marvel at the snake charmers, singers, story tellers, acrobats and healers. |

Built between 2600 and 2500 BC and made up of more than 5 million limestone blocks the three pyramids of Giza showcase the Egyptians ingenuity, engineering, and incredible achievement. The Great Pyramid is the largest of the three, it is abount 146 meters high and took 20 years to complete.
